ASH is an Italian shoe brand that specializes in contemporary footwear for both men and women. Fans Commemorate Tiffany’s Birthday with Newspaper Advertisement

On August 1st, fans of Girls’ Generation placed an advertisement in a newspaper to commemorate Tiffany’s birthday. The poem reads:

Hi Tiffany

Smiles are the door to ten thousand blessings?

In addition to the poem, Girls’ Generation fans also did volunteer work in honor of her birthday. This took place on July 14th at the Sinnae nursing home located in Jungnang-gu, Seoul.

Fans have been doing volunteer work for every member’s birthday without missing a single one. They revealed that they will continue to donate under each member’s name on their respective birthdays in the future.

On July 31st, Seohyun attended the Coach Fall/Winter 2013 Collection presentation at the Beyond Museum in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Coach specializes in luxury leather goods and is especially known for women’s handbags. Girls’ Generation’s youngest stunned in a white dress while holding a blue bag from Coach and posed for photos by members of the press.

Lee Chunhee Praises Sooyoung in Interview

Sooyoung has been getting rave reviews from fans and critics alike for her role as the quirky and cute Gong Minyoung in “Dating Agency; Cyrano”, which recently ended. And it’s not only fans who are falling for Sooyoung. In an interview with Osen, Sooyoung’s costar in the drama, Lee Chunhee, talked about working with her on the set, as well as his thoughts on her abilities as an actress.

“While filming, I only thought of her as a fellow actress. Once, Yuri and Hyoyeon came while we were filming. It was to the point where, for a moment, I went, ‘Why are they here?’, and thought about it for a long time. Then, I recalled, ‘Oh, yeah! Sooyoung’s in Girls’ Generation!’ I don’t know if it’s because she’s good at acting or because she’s so laid-back, but there almost isn’t any hint that she is an idol girl group member.”

Along with that, as a senior and actor, he gave Sooyoung’s talent a high rating.
“She definitely has talent. And not just as something she wants to try, but I felt enough of her desire of really wanting to do this. Honestly, with Sooyoung’s character of Minyoung being at the center of the story, if she were to falter, it would cause problems with the entire thing. Still, I honestly was worried a bit early on, but after filming 1~2 episodes, those worries completely went away.”

Sooyoung has been showing that she is a serious force as an actress since “The 3rd Hospital” and now “Dating Agency; Cyrano”. The future looks bright for actress Choi Sooyoung.

‘SMTOWN Live World Tour III’ to Return to Tokyo for ‘Special Edition’ Concert on October 26th and 27th

Capitalizing on the success of last year’s SMTOWN in Japan, SM Entertainment released the concert dates for “SMTOWN Live World Tour III in Tokyo Special Edition” earlier today. The “SMTOWN Live World Tour III Special Edition” will be held at the Tokyo Dome on October 26th at 5 PM and on October 27th at 3 PM. Doors will open two hours before the start of each concert.

A few of the artists appearing at the concert will include Girls’ Generation, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, f(x), EXO-K and EXO-M, and more.

Tickets will go on sale starting August 1st at noon from tickebo.jp for 12,800 yen (~$130.88 USD) each. Sales will close on August 18th at noon. Penlights will be given to ticket holders at the venue.

’2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace’ Heads to Jakarta, Indonesia on September 14th

Music promoter Dyandra Entertainment has revealed that the “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” will be taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Saturday, September 14th. The concert will take place at the Mata Elang International Stadium at Ancol Dreamland. Ticketing details will be released in the future.

Girls’ Generation’s world tour has thus far visited Seoul, South Korea and Taipei, Taiwan, and fans all over the world are excited to see where Girls’ Generation will go next.

QUA Fashion Brand Selects Tiffany as New Muse

QUA, a fashion brand, has chosen Tiffany as its new muse. The brand revealed a photo of Tiffany from a photoshoot, and that shoppers and fans will soon be able to meet “The Lovely Tiffany” and its Fall/Winter fashion line. QUA’s website has also been updated with a page for the “Tiffany Look”, listing clothes from QUA that Tiffany has worn to different events.

In addition, the Korean “Vogue Girl” magazine will feature Tiffany’s photoshoot for QUA in an upcoming issue. As a preview of the magazine feature, two photos were posted on the magazine’s Facebook page.

Tiffany Inspires Support for Global Hope

In December of 2012, Tiffany was appointed as an honorary ambassador for Global Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mentoring and a better education for impoverished youths around the world. Global Hope stated that Tiffany was chosen as an honorary ambassador because of her “warm heart” towards poor and neglected children.

Recently, it was revealed that as soon as Tiffany was named honorary ambassador for Global Hope, the number of supporters for the organization increased over tenfold and calls to the program flooded in saying, “I want to take part in sharing like Tiffany.” Global Hope received hundreds of “likes” on articles and photos of Tiffany posted on Global Hope’s official Facebook page, compared to the usual average of about 15 a day. There was also a hot response from fans in China, Thailand, and Vietnam. With an increase in support and comments left by foreign fans on Twitter, it was decided to begin adding Global Hope’s news not just in Korean, but also in English.

With her bright smile, dedication, and caring personality, Tiffany continues to fulfill her role as an honorary ambassador for Global Hope as well as inspiring others to support the organization and its mission. Seohyun to Be Guest Lecturer for ‘Mental Boom Up School’

On July 27th, Seohyun will be a guest lecturer for “Mental Boom Up School”, a program run by SK for Seoul’s Platon Academy. The purpose of “Mental Boom Up School” is to teach humanities to the youths who attend.

Seohyun will be a part of the “Mental Healing School” section of the program, and her segment, “Happy Book Reading with Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun”, will be in a question-answer format. She will answer questions and discuss books with the students, including what she likes and what she recommends for young people to read.

The “Mental Boom Up School” program started on July 20th and will run every Saturday until August 10th at the SK Telecom office and T Tower in Seorin-dong, Seoul. Other guest lecturers include professors, reporters, and even a famous webtoon artist. Seohyun’s segment will be this Saturday, from 11:10 AM to 12:25 PM KST.

Sunny to Appear on tvN’s ‘Grandpa Over Flowers 2′

On July 25th, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny flew on the sly to Taiwan to film tvN’s variety show, “Grandpa Over Flowers 2”. Despite the secrecy, the singer was spotted with cast members of the program at Taoyuan Airport in Taipei. You can watch a video of their arrival below.

Sunny was able to make a special appearance in the show since Lee Seojin, one of the actors in “Grandpa Over Flowers 2”, mentioned that he admires her and would enjoy traveling in her company. Unfortunately, she was not able to finish filming the episode due to her schedule; Sunny, along with Taeyeon and Tiffany, will be throwing the opening pitch and singing the national anthem at the Dodgers baseball game in Los Angeles on July 28th.

The air date and time for “Grandpa Over Flowers 2″ have yet to be announced.
