Barbie YoonA Took Cute Photos with EXO Members

On April 14th, Photos of YoonA with her juniors, the members of new group EXO-K and EXO-M were revealed on an online community site. The photos were attached to a post entitled ‘YoonA and EXO’.

In the photos revealed, YoonA, EXO-K’s Kai and SeHoon as well as EXO-M’s LuHan showed various poses as they had these cute photos taken. With her retro-look bang and long straight hair, YoonA gave out a Barbie doll-like charm and that transformation has been receiving a lot of attention.

Netizens who saw the photos commented, “EXO members look as pretty as YoonA”, “Now, YoonA’s taking care of her juniors”, “YoonA’s love for her juniors”, etc.

Ace Bed Releases Two CFs with Yoona and Seohyun

Ace Bed, Girls’ Generation’s latest endorsement, has released two new CFs featuring Yoona and Seohyun. In the CFs, both Yoona and Seohyun are having a difficult time falling asleep and sit up to lament, “Beds really do need to be scientifically designed…” In both CFs, popular actor Lee Sun Gyun appears and says, “Of course! Being fully rested, even if you don’t sleep for long, that’s science!” All of the members of Girls’ Generation then sing, “A bed isn’t just furniture~!” followed by Lee Sun Gyun’s voiceover, “The science of beds, Ace Bed.”

Finally, Yoona and Seohyun are seen being able to fall asleep on beds from Ace Bed. In Yoona’s version of the CF, Jessica, Yuri and Yoona appear at the very end of the CF saying, “Have a good jam(Translator’s note: “jam” means “sleep”).” Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun deliver the same line at the end of Seohyun’s version of the CF.

Seohyun Tops ‘Maknae Mascot’ Poll

Seohyun topped a poll that aims to determine the ‘mascot maknae’ among various girl groups.

From the survey conducted by ‘DC Inside’ from April 3rd to 11th, Seohyun was crowned as the no.1 maknae who is the mascot of her group after garnering 3,466 votes (55%).

Suzy, who is the maknae in miss A came in 2nd with 895 votes (14.2%), while f(x)’s Krystal came in 3rd with 355 votes (5.6%). T-ara’s maknae JiYeon, Brown Eyed Girls’ GaIn and Kara’s Kang Jiyoung took the 4th, 5th and 6th spot respectively.

Netizens who saw the results commented, “The girl who lives a righteous life took the no.1 spot”, “Seohyun is very knowledgeable and possess a trustworthy character”, “face, body, heart, she has them all”, “Seohyun who works hard and continue to improve herself, is my role model”, etc.

Yuri Leaves an Autograph and Message for a Fan of ‘Fashion King’

 
On April 11th, an official Twitter account for SBS, the network on which “Fashion King” is aired, uploaded a picture of a note from a fan asking the actors in the drama, Shin Sekyung, Yoo Ah-in, and Lee Jehoon for autographs. The SBS Twitter account also included a message saying, “This is a note by Miss Myoongji (translator’s note: the fan asking for autographs), along with Miss Yuri’s cute comments, found at a filming set for ‘Fashion King’. Miss Myoongji~~ Please ask for Yuri’s autograph in the future too.”

Yuri garnered attention with her witty comments and by leaving an autograph when the note hadn’t asked her to do so.

On the note, she left her autograph and a comment saying, “Hi?! It’s me! I’m Kwon Yuri kekeke. Why… am I not on there… my autograph.. is also.. useful.. keke. I will do it [give an autograph] for you instead keke.”

Additionally, Yuri caused laughter by writing, “Don’t sneak in next time! P.S. If you want to, ask for my autograph” to the fan who apparently snuck onto the set.

Sooyoung Recommended "Genie" for a campaign song

Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung recently recommended “Genie” for a campaign song.

On April 10th, Sooyoung participated in a phone interview on MBC FM‘s “Son Seok Hee’s Focus” in which she voiced her opinions on the 19th National Assembly elections.

This will be Sooyoung’s first time participating in the elections. She revealed, “My father said, ‘You must participate in the voting’ therefore, I plan to go vote with my family.”

Son Seok Hee also asked Sooyoung which would be the best Girls’ Generation’s song to use in the political campaigns, and she picked their hit “Genie”.

Kwon Yuri reveals her habit during Fashion King's NG scenes

Girls’ Generation member Yuri, who is currently starring in the drama, ‘Fashion King,’ recently revealed her habit when she messes up (NG scenes).

An event was recently held where fans could come together and watch SBS’s drama ‘Fashion King’ at their studio. Yuri was in attendance that day and spoke about how she reacts when she messes up a scene.

During the event, a fan asked if she has a reaction she does out of habit when she causes an NG, and Yuri said, “Unknowingly I say, ‘What do I do’ and stick my tongue out.” Fans who heard this said, “Cute“, “I hope they show a compilation of her NGs“, and “It is because she is a rookie actress.”

She not only told the people how she reacts when she messes up but she also shared her most memorable line thus far. Yuri said, “I can say it here right? Everyone who came out her today, ‘Wipe your mouth,‘” which received a huge response from her fans.

After the event, Yuri said, “Thank you all for coming out to see and supporting me even with all the rain outside. It was more fun watching the show with my fans. Today was a great day because of all of you.”

‘Fashion King’ airs every Monday and Tuesday on SBS at 9:55pm KST.
