MYX was established as the number one Music Channel in the Philippines!
After being on the 9th spot for their single “The Boys” on the MYX International Top 20 Year End Special 2011, Girls’ Generation continues to be on the top of Philippine Music interests.
“MYX International Top 20 Year End Special 2011” is the list of the international music videos that ruled the Philippines in the year 2011, and is chosen through text votes.
Last February 4, 2012, Girls’ Generation’s US debut was featured in MYX News. MYX News was a program in the Philippines that gives hottest and freshest news on music scenes; aired every Saturday at 5:30 PM and has a replay on Mondays at 8:00 PM, Philippine time. A preview of the girls’ performance on
“ LIVE! With Kelly!” and “David Letterman Show”, and some clips of their interview were shown.
Also, the MYX VJ’s were all praises for the girls’ talents and skills in dancing, singing, acting, etc.
As of now, Filipino SONES are patiently waiting for the nine lovely girls of Girls’ Generation to come to the Philippines and conduct a full length concert.
