The Boys album release date confirmed

 

Gaining attention for their worldwide comeback, Girls’ Generation will release their album in the U.S. through the world leading Universal Music Group.

Revealed by Girls’ Generation’s company on the 12th, Girls’ Generation will release a maxi single, “The Boys”, in November through Interscope Records, a label under Universal Music Group whose current artists include Lady Gaga, Eminem, and the Black Eyed Peas.

Together with Universal Music Group, “The Boys” will be released not only in the U.S., but in Europe, South America, and all over the world. To further strengthen the marketing of their worldwide release, Girls’ Generation altered their schedule and have finalized it to release “The Boys” on the 19th. On October 19th, “The Boys” will be released on iTunes all over the world. The music video for “The Boys” will also premiere on the 19th on SM’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page and their 3rd album will be released in Korea on the 19th as well, expecting it to be a so-called “Girls’ Generation day”.

Meanwhile, to kick off their activities for the worldwide release of “The Boys” on the 19th, Girls’ Generation will make their comeback on KBS Music Bank on October 21st.

2011 Girls’ Generation Tour Performance Date in Singapore Moved up to December 9

Girls’ Generation’s much anticipated first solo concert performance in Singapore is going to happen even sooner than people thought, according to the concert organizer. Running Into The Sun, the concert organizer for the girls’ Singapore performance along the 2011 Girls’ Generation Tour, announced today that their concert will take place on December 9th, 2011 at 8:00pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Running Into The Sun also stated that concert tickets will be made available to the public by the end of October and that more details about ticketing will be released soon.

The Singapore concert was previously announced to occur in February of 2012, but the date was moved up due to various schedule conflicts.

Beatrice Chia-Richmond, the Creative Director with Running Into The Sun, stated, “We hope this will be an early Christmas present for fans and we’re sure this will end the year on a sweet note. With many fans young and schooling, we hope the change will be for the better, with Girls’ Generation performing here in December during the school holidays.”

Girls’ Generation Helps Goobne Chicken See 1600% Profitability

A recent article was released detailing the profitability of certain franchises in Korea. When looking at the costs to start a company and profits gained, Goobne Chicken was ranked first, extremely ahead of every other company, with a mind boggling 1643% return on investment. Girls’ Generation was credited for the massive increase in sales Goobne Chicken has seen. The girls’ ad campaign for them has proven to be wildly successful and has turned this small company into a very profitable one.

Yoona Donates Signed Copy of “All About Girls’ Generation”

Yoona will be donating a signed copy of “All About Girls’ Generation” for the 2011 WeAja Charity Flea Market. The girls are always quite charitable, and this is the second item recently that Yoona will have donated. She recently donated her “Genie” outfit for a charity auction. The WeAja Charity Flea Market will be held on October 16th.

Taeyeon and Tiffany on the Front Page of London’s Evening Herald

The October 3rd edition of one of London’s Evening Standard, one of the city’s most widely read publications, featured a story on K-Pop coming to London. The front page of the newspaper showed Taeyeon and Tiffany in their “Oh!” outfits. The article itself mentioned Girls’ Generation’s music video for “Gee”, which has over 53 million views on Youtube.
