Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon recently made a guest appearance on MBC‘sSunday Night‘s “Magic Concert – This is Magic!” where she learned from her tarot cards that she will be meeting her future boyfriend soon.
It was Hyoyeon’s first time having her future read in tarot cards by magician Choi Hyun Woo, and could not contain her excitement.
When Choi Hyun Woo asked Hyoyeon if there was anything she was curious to know through tarot cards she asked, “Will I ever be able to find a boyfriend?” Magician Choi Hyun Woo replied, “You will soon have a boyfriend who has many talents” to the happiness of Hyoyeon.
Magician Choi Hyun Woo also performed magic tricks with a snake over 3 meters long. Although MC Jung Jun Ha was too scared to go near the snake, Hyoyeon surprised everyone by petting it without the slightest bit of hesitation or fear.
The episode featuring Hyoyeon having her tarot cards read will air on February 10.
The Girls’ Generation themed cafe ‘Girls’ Generation EXPRESS‘ finally opened on February 7th and held a successful grand opening, drawing both domestic and international fans.
The cafe opened in the trendy section of Southern Seoul, Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong and offered Valentine’s Day themed chocolate and baked goods. The cozy interior created a refreshing atmosphere. Girls’ Generation t-shirts and merchandise were also available for sale.
‘Girls’ Generation EXPRESS’ will be temporarily open inside the Rabbit in the Moon cafe in Seoul from February 7 to the 17th.
Girls’ Generation Sooyoung showed off her sexy charms through a picture for Double M. Recently, she was chosen as the muse for Double M’s 2013 spring summer season lineup. Double M explained why Sooyoung was chosen as the muse for Double M. During Wonder Girls’ Sunye’s wedding, Sooyoung had worn a Double M accessory and after that it was completely sold out. On the latest ‘Strong Heart‘, Jessica discussed how it was acting alongside Lee Dong Wook on the KBS 2TV drama ‘Wild Romance‘. She confessed, “It was my first time acting, and there was a scene I was supposed to cry. But when we started shooting, it was so cold and I was so nervous, I couldn’t get into the right emotion.”
However, she revealed that Lee Dong Wook had been a big help to her during the scene. She said, “Dong Wook oppa was already crying. I was so thankful he helped me get into the rightemotion.”In the scene they were discussing, Jessica’s character broke up with Lee Dong Wook while she gave him a pedicure. Lee Dong Wook revealed, “To be honest, I was really nervous too. I had a few hairs on my big toe, so I was self-conscious,” causing the entire studio to burst into laughter.
The nine lovely ladies of Girls’ Generation decorated the panel of SBS’s “Strong Heart” last night and shared stories regarding their income, rumors, and more. During the episode. Tiffany also talked about one prized possession – her one-of-a-kind car.
MC Lee Dong Wook asked, “Tiffany, did you buy anything recently?” to which she answered, “I bought a car.” Boom interrupted, “It’s one-of-a-kind in Korea,” piquing everyone’s interest. Tiffany explained, “Yes…Well no, it’s not the only one, but it is very special car. It’s pink.” Shin Dong Yup and Lee Dong Wook added, “Just like Paris Hilton’s.”
Bashfully, Tiffany replied, “Haha, yes, but minus a couple zeros. I bought a compact car.” She continued, “Many people believe I earn a lot of money, but I don’t make that much.” During the episode, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon also revealed their recent purchases, homes for their parents.
In celebration of Sooyoung’s 24th birthday on February 10th, fans wished her a happy birthday through an advertisement in the daily newspaper. Im, a fan who planned the ad, stated, “There is a Japan concert planned on the 10th, the day of her birthday, but I hope they will let her show a great performance after eating tasty Lunar New Year’s rice cake soup.” He complimented her by adding, “Sooyoung is high and clear like the blue sky, so you feel fresh and cheerful just by looking at her.”
There is also a poem in the birthday dedication, which reads:

The girls’ popularity vote is being carried out in a Japan online community. On 7that 3PM, among the current overall votes of 26456, Jessica obtained 5254 votes (19.9%), claiming the first place.
Yoona ranked second with 4482 votes (16.9%), and Taeyeon recorded 4295 votes (16.2%) in third spot. On the other hand, Sunny was standing at the ninth place with 590 votes (2.2%), but the final result cannot be predicted as the vote is continually in the process.
The citizens who learned about the news of this popularity vote came up with some comments such as: “Yoona, Jessica, Taeyeon’s popularities are the same as in Korea.”, “Unexpectedly, Yuri’s ranking is quite low.”
Fashion accessory brand DOUBLE-M has chosen Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung as their 2013 Spring/Summer (S/S) season muse. On choosing Sooyoung as their first muse, a DOUBLE-M spokesperson stated, “Our connection came about after the DOUBLE-M item Sooyoung had at Wonder Girls’ Sunye’s wedding sold out. Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” album came in first on Gaon’s monthly album chart for January 2013. According to the chart, “I Got A Boy” sold 265,322 copies in its first month since release. The girls placed ahead of Kim Jaejoong and CNBLUE, who were the second and third place artists, respectively.
“I Got A Boy” also topped the Hanteo monthly chart for January, selling over 100,000 copies since the girls’ New Year’s Day comeback, when the album received an all-kill, ranking first on popular Korean digital music charts including MelOn, Bugs!, Daum, and Naver. “I Got A Boy” remains in the top six for Hanteo’s daily sales through the first week of February, showing Girls’ Generation’s continued success with their latest Korean release.
Girls’ Generation will be decorating the final episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart Season 1.” The final show will air through two special episodes, titled “Strong Heart – Girls and Uncles,” and will feature all nine ladies of Girls’ Generation, as well as “uncle fans” Gong Hyung Jin, ChoiSong Hyun, No Hyun Hee, Jeon Hyun Moo, and Kim Young Chul.

According to the group’s management agency, SM Entertainment, Girls’ Generation’s fourth full-length album ‘I Got a Boy’ became the highest selling album for the month of January based on the Hanteo Charts.
In addition, “I Got a Boy” topped the Korean Music Top 100 of Taiwan’s biggest online musicsite KKBOX, further proving Girls’ Generation’s huge influence and power in the country.
The album also ranked first on the US Billboard World Album Chart and received a lot of attention from major media outlets, including, MTV, Rolling Stone, The Times and FUSE TV.
All nine Girls’ Generation members were present for the final episode of ‘Strong Heart‘ that aired on February 5th. To celebrate, Boom prepared a segment called ‘Everything About Girls’ Generation‘. The first matter he tackled were rumors on the girls’ income. He said, “I saw an article listing your income, and I was shocked. In the article, it said that YoonA’s yearly income was 4 billion KRW (current exchange rates, approximately 3.66 million USD)“.
YoonA complained that the rumors were completely false and explained, “I saw that particular article as well. But it’s not true. It said that I made 4 billion KRW in the first half of the year, which would mean I’d make 8 billion KRW (approximately 7.32 million USD) for an entire year. It makes absolutely no sense. But I just let it go and things just sort of ballooned from there.“
On February 5th, SBS’s “Strong King” aired the first half of its Girls’ Generation special. This episode featured all nine members of Girls’ Generation, who commented on stories from other guests and answered questions from MCs Shin Dongyup and Lee Dongwook.
Girls’ Generation’s feature in the show began with a discussion of “Wild Romance”, a drama which Jessica and Lee Dongwook starred in in 2012. Jessica mentioned that Lee Dongwook was a very thoughtful co-star who still cried after hearing her lines even though she was very nervous.
The members then shared the reasons behind their seating positions on the show. Hyoyeon explained that there was intense competition in the group to sit next to Boom, who replied, “Because you didn’t want to sit here?”
Yuri and Sooyoung sat as the kkab (editor’s note: hyper or random) pair, and Sunny and Seohyun sat together as the “maknae” couple, with Sunny as the “fake” maknae, sometimes mistakenly thought to be the youngest member of Girls’ Generation, and Seohyun as the real one. Taeyeon and Tiffany sat together as the two members who feel they perform badly on variety shows.
Afterwards, the members discussed Hyoyeon’s tendency to misspeak when guest Jeon Hyunmoo next revealed that Hyoyeon once accidentally called him “Im Chaemoo”, a South Korean actor. Tiffany followed by saying that Hyoyeon also said “Brian McMorning” instead of “Brian McKnight”, and Hyoyeon admitted that she misspoke Whoopi Goldberg’s name. Tiffany explained that Hyoyeon instead mistakenly said, “Whoopi Goldenretriever.”
Finally, Girls’ Generation’s members discussed their finances and drinking habits. Tiffany further proved her love for the color pink, revealing that she had bought a pink car, and Hyoyeon stated that she had purchased a home for her parents. Sunny shared that Taeyeon’s face flushes when drinking, and Yoona recalled a time when Hyoyeon drank, went into a bathroom, and activated all the automatic faucets while saying, “Wake up!”
This Girls’ Generation special episode also featured talks between Yuri, Seohyun, and Gong Hyungjin, a display of Seohyun’s aegyo, Girls’ Generation’s members dancing along with Jeon Hyunmoo to “I Got A Boy”, and more.

Idols chose among their peers to find “the best 7 idols who look after their members like a mom.” L was voted as the member of INFINITE who takes care of his fellow members the most regardless of age, Dojoon was picked out of B2ST, and SHINee‘s Key is said to watch over the maknaes of his group.
However, Seohyun of Girls’ Generation topped the list as the maknae who complains to and look after her older members, earning her the image of “motherly” idol.

Hyoyeon had the entire studio roaring in laughter with some of her word mix-ups in the past.
The members of Girls’ Generation were guests on ‘Strong Heart‘s latest episode, and Jun Hyun Moo, one of the other guests on the show, revealed that Hyoyeon had called him Im Chae Moo before.
Hearing this, the other Girls’ Generation members had even more to reveal about Hyoyeon. Tiffany said, “Hyoyeon makes a lot of mistakes when she talks. One time we were listening to Brian McKnight, but she said, ‘Oh Brian McMorning is so good.’” The studio burst into laughter and Hyoyeon explained, “I was trying to say Brian McKnight before any of the other members could, but at the same time, I was watching the members eat McDonald’s morning meal, so I said Brian McMorning.”
When asked what she thought was her worst mix-up, Hyoyeon commented, “The worst timewas when I said Whoopi Goldberg was Whoopi Golden Retriever,” once again drawing laughs.
However, that wasn’t all. Seohyun was quick to point out, ”There’s another one. During ‘Oh!‘, Hyoyeon was supposed to sing, ‘What should I do? The proud person..’, and the second line she was supposed to say later on was ‘What should I do? You naive person..” but instead she combined the two phrases in her head and ended up saying, ‘What should I do? You person with no nose hair’ during live broadcast,” as the audience and guests roared with laughter.
While Girls′ Generation (SNSD) may not be the richest female celebrities in Korea, the members are apparently still making enough to make some big purchases.
On SBS Strong Heart which aired on February 5, while talking about SNSD’s income and theirexpenses, SNSD members Taeyeon and Hyoyeon said they bought houses for their family.
After MC Boom asked Taeyeon, “I know you’ve bought a new house recently - How many bathrooms are there?”, Taeyeon replied “There are three. And it was for my parents.”The other SNSD members also touched on their recent purchases, including Tiffany′s pinkcompact car and Hyoyeon′s house for her parents.

Girls’ Generation’s Japanese fansite has released the official
schedule for Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese tour, which will visit
six different cities for a total of fourteen concerts between February
9th and and April 10th. Tickets for the concerts will cost 9,500 yen and
will also include penlights. Registration for Girls’ Generation’s
fanclub in Japan has also begun, and members of the fanclub will receive
priority applications for tickets to the concert tour.

Singer Moon Hee Jun made a shocking confession on the latest broadcast of SBS‘s radio program, ‘Kim Chang Ryeol’s Old School‘.
During his recent appearance on the FM radio broadcast, he was asked the question, “Do you have any plans to film ‘We Got Married‘? Who do you want to film it with?”
“I think ‘We Got Married’ will be fun, especially since I’m not married yet,” Moon Hee Jun answered. The radio host then asked, “Don’t pick a specific person, but what age range are you thinking of?”
Moon Hee Jun ignored the host’s suggestion, however, going straight for the jugular. “I want to do it with Taeyeon,” he answered, quickly following up with, “It’s fake, it’s variety.”
He then explained his choice, saying, “Girl’s Generation are all wonderful hoobaes and they’re all pretty, but my ideal type is someone who is cute and Taeyeon looks like a doll. YoonA of course looks like a Barbie doll too, but Taeyeon is a bit of a smaller doll.”
There was a poll on a Korean portal site, and the title was,"Female star who you want in a petite size to hold in your arm". Taeyeon was voted as #1 with 19.4% of the total votes. She has many nicknames like "Aegyo Queen" or "Kid leader" thanks to her cute character and appearance eventhough she's the oldest in the group.
Hyoyeon came out as #2 with 14% of total votes, she's the third shortest member in the group and she has a great sense of art which captured many attention. Third place is Goo Hye Sun with 13.9% of total votes. She is talented and beautiful at the same time.Other stars included in the list are Park Bo Young, Girl's Generation Sunny, IU, Han Ji Min, etc.
Along with the big announcement that Girls’ Generation (SNSD) will be appearing on the show, jTBC’s Shinhwa Broadcast revealed that Yoona will spill tears.
On February 3’s broadcast of Shinhwa Brodacast, a quick teaser showed the Shinhwa and SNSD members, sans Yoona, conspiring a hidden camera prank.
The teaser had both groups participating in a logic quiz, where Yoona got every answer wrong. After finding out it was a prank, Yoona cried out, “This is so annoying,” while everyone around her laughed.
