Sunny and Seohyun to Be Narrators for New MBC Show ‘Real Men’

On April 12th, MBC revealed that Girls’ Generation’s Sunny and Seohyun will be narrating for “Real Men”, a new show on MBC’s “Sunday Night” television lineup.

“Real Men” is a program that will show viewers what the army is really like. Girls’ Generation’s Sunny and Seohyun will be observing from a woman’s point of view.

Girls’ Generation said, “We were very surprised at everything that was happening in the camp. The way they fold their laundry, the way they are always in formation when walking to the cafeteria to eat, and even the way they tie their boots. All the know-hows were interesting.”

The first episode of “Real Men” will feature actor Kim Sooro and five other men entering the training camp to be trained by Wheesung, a singer currently carrying out his mandatory military service. The show will begin airing on April 14th at 6:25 PM KST.

Jessica to Make Guest Appearance on SBS’s ‘Running Man’

Jessica and Eun Jiwon, a former member of Sechs Kies, will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of SBS’s “Running Man”. They participated in an “Animal Kingdom”-themed episode of the show, which took place at a theme park located in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. Jessica was spotted filming for this episode on April 2nd. This will be her third appearance on the popular variety show.

The official race took place at an amusement park, where each member started off wearing animal masks that suited them. Jessica wore a cute bunny mask and showed an unexpectedly competitive side. She fully engaged in the race and left the other members dazed from constantly being on the move.

This “Animal Kingdom” episode of “Running Man” with cute animals will air on April 14th at 6:10 PM KST.

Jessica Made Another 'Legendary' Throw

Most fans of Jessica and Girls’ Generation remember the adorably awkward pitch that she threw straight to the ground last May. The throw went viral and even appeared on ESPN’s Sportscenter.

The newest throw was recently featured on an online community board under the title, “Sica’s new Pitch“. The throw occurred at a recent stop for their Japanese arena tour. It appears she wanted to compensate for the throw that went straight to the ground last time as she managed to do the complete opposite this time around. Determined to throw it correctly this time, Jessica tried an underhand throw instead of an overhead throw.

Sadly, just like Taeyeon with her accidental throw at a previous concert, Jessica misjudged her power and angle and sent the ball incredibly high up in a vertical line and had it drop straight back down nearby. Cutely mortified, she sank down to the ground and ran quickly away to recover.

YoonA and Sulli Pair Up For 'SK Telecom LTE' CF

The two girls filmed a quiet but adorable CF for the new LTE features for the mobile company. In one CF, YoonA calls Sulli even though they’re sitting at the same table. Confused, Sulli asks, “Unnie, why are you calling me when we’re in the same room?“, and YoonA answers, “Because it’s free!“.

In the 2nd CF, YoonA bosses Sulli around, asking for her mirror, more water, and then goes onto asking to share her data, which is one of their new possible features. Sulli seems annoyed at the request, but must have acquiesced, as later on YoonA says, “Give me a little more“.

Seohyun and Yonghwa Confirmed To Live In The Same Apartment Complex

It’s been revealed that CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa and Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun live in the same apartment complex.

tvN‘s news program had a corner called ‘Decisive Punch‘. The program reported on idols that were rumored to be dating. One of the couples they covered was Yonghwa and Seohyun, who’d become a hot issue and a fan favorite after their gig together on ‘We Got Married‘. There were rumors that the pair lived in the same apartment complex, and the news corner found out that the rumor was indeed true.

CNBLUE’s dorms were located on the 1st floor of the complex, and Seohyun had moved in with her parents last year into an apartment on the 4th floor. Their neighbors revealed, “Seohyun lived here first, and CNBLUE moved here soon after that. When their label FNC Entertainment moved their headquarters near here, the members probably moved here to be closer to their label.”

On April 11th, Girls’ Generation will be releasing the concert album of the “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour”. The album will consist of two CDs and 34 tracks, and two songs, “Let It Rain” and “Danny Boy”, will be included as re-recorded studio versions. The remaining tracks for the album, including “Genie”, “Run Devil Run”, “Hoot”, “Gee”, “Oh!”, “Snowy Wish”, “Sweet Talking Baby”, “The Great Escape”, and “Bad Girl”, were recorded during Girls’ Generation’s concert performances in Seoul on July 23rd and 24th, 2011. These two concerts were also used for the DVD release of the “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour”, which can be purchased through YesAsia.

The “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour” was Girls’ Generation’s second concert tour through Asia. The tour began in Seoul and later reached Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong, before ending in Thailand in February of 2012.

Taeyeon and Seohyun to Reprise Roles for ‘Despicable Me 2′

Anticipation grows for the sequel to 2010′s high grossing 3D animated film, “Despicable Me”, with “Despicable Me 2″ (in Korea as “Superbad 2″). Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Seohyun, praised for their voice dubbing in the first film, will reprise their roles for the upcoming sequel. Promotion for the film kicked off in Korea with the release of the first trailer.

Taeyeon provides the voice for Gru’s eldest daughter, Margo, a ten year old girl with an attitude far beyond her young age. Seohyun, meanwhile, voices the mischievous and cynical Edith.

In “Despicable Me 2″, Gru continues his dream in becoming the world’s greatest villain, yet is ironically recruited by the shadowy Anti-Villain League to combat the threat posed by the new character, Eduardo. Fans will be thrilled to see Girls’ Generation voice Gru’s cute kids as they team up with the lovable Minions once more.

The “ASIA STYLE COLLECTION” fashion event will be held in Singapore on June 22nd at Singapore EXPO. Popular K-Pop girl groups Girls’ Generation and 2NE1, as well as Japanese actress Noriko Sakai are scheduled to attend.
The “ASIA STYLE COLLECTION” is a fashion event where the leading edge of Asian trends in Japan, China, Korea, and Singapore are all put on display. It is held with the goal of spreading each participating country’s culture towards ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) member nations. To commemorate the inaugural “ASIA STYLE COLLECTION”, each contributing country’s popular fashion brands, top models, and artists will gather in Singapore and participate in various combined fashion and music stages.

During the event, the latest cutting edge styles from Japan, China, and Korea will be presented in several different stages, including “K-POP COLLECTION”, which will be handled by Korean broadcasting station SBS; “TGC Girls Collection”, which has been held in China three times in the past; and Japan’s top class fashion event “TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION”. Girls’ Generation to Perform in ’2013 Dream Concert’

After sending only the members of sub-unit Girls’ Generation – TTS in 2012, it was announced that Girls’ Generation will be appearing with all nine members at the “I Love You Republic of Korea 2013 Dream Concert” on May 11th in Seoul.

The annual “Dream Concert” is consistently one of the bigger concerts in Korea, featuring some K-Pop’s most famous idols. This year’s event marks the 19th annual “Dream Concert” and will feature 21 artists in its roster, including Girls’ Generation, SHINee, B2ST, INFINITE, 2AM, U-KISS, ZE:A, KARA, SISTAR, 4minute, T-ara, SECRET, EXO, B1A4, Rainbow, Huh Gak, Girl’s Day, SPEED, BTOB, EvoL, and VIXX.

Tiffany wins the hearts of many once again for protecting Sunny's bare face last April 3 at Gimpo airport.

Girls' Generation members appeared in Gimpo airport on April 3 for their departure to Japan. Most of the girls looked so tired and barely had make up on. Some of them were covering their faces from the flashing cameras.

Photos of them were uploaded online. A particular photo of Tiffany covering Sunny's face with her passport caught the the attention of the netizens. They were impressed by her sisterly gesture. She seemed protecting Sunny for having her face being captured.

On April 7th, Girls’ Generation performed at the “LG Cinema 3D World Festival”, which was held at the Lotte World Ice Rink in Jamsil-dong, Seoul.
