'Mr. Mr.' Lands at No. 8 on MYX Daily Top 10 Philippines

Girl's Generation's Mr. Mr. music video finally joins MYX Daily Top 10 today at no. 8 spot after it's MYX debut a week ago.

MYX Daily Top 10 is an official chart listing the Top 10 music videos in the Philippines for each day. The ranking is based on votes online and through text messages nationwide.

PH SONES are anticipating to make the girls on top which is currently occupied by 2NE1's Come Back Home.

Girls' Generation is Nominated for 2013's Best Female Artist at 'The 5th Philippine Kpop Awards'

Girls' Generation has once again proven to be a global hit for it was nominated as 2013's Best Female Artist at 'The 5th Philippine Kpop Awards', along with Sistar, A Pink, 2NE1 and Miss A.
Nominees were selected by PKCI's affiliate FCs, and the final candidates were those with the highest votes.

To vote, just visit the Philippines Kpop Convention page, click the tab at the upper right, as shown below, and then fill up the necessary information.

Public voting will be open until December 24. Announcement of winners will be on December 28, 2013 at the 5th Philippine Kpop Convention, SMX Halls 1-2.

Girl Power! GIRLS' GENERATION Dominates K-Pop Hot 100 With Ten New Songs!

 

Girls' Generation made their much-awaited K-Pop comeback on New Year's Day, and they are making history.

On New Year's Day, to celebrate their comeback track "I Got A Boy," Girls' Generation had a television special where they performed their new tracks from their new album.

Their video for "I Got A Boy" now has over 30 million on YouTube after only a few weeks since it was released. It is also currently holding the top spot in the K-Pop Hot 100 charts. But it doesn't stop there. Every one of their tracks from their new album landed a spot within the Top 80.

“All My Love Is For You” Continues to be on the List of MYX Countdowns

TaeTiSeo's Twinkle Ranks Top 16 on M.I.T. 20 Year-End Countdown

MYX is the number one music channel in the Philippines.

MYX International Top (M.I.T.) 20 is a show wherein Top 20 best international songs are chosen through votes of Filipino Music fans.

Every year, M.I.T.20 conduct a year-end countdown and choose top 20 international songs. The votes throughout the year are gathered and tallied in order to get the top 20 winners.

For 2012, TaeTiSeo's Twinkle ranked top 16 on the list for being on the chart for almost a month. Congratulations to TaeTiSeo together with their co-labelmates, Super Junior and SHINee and to other KPOP artists who also shares the spotlight on top 20.

This is not the first time that Girls' Generation had an entry in M.I.T.20 year-end countdown. In fact, "The Boys, Oh! and Run Devil Run" also ranked on their respective year of release.

Girls' Generation's "All My Love is For You" ranked top 5 on today's MYX Daily Top 10. MYX Daily Top 10 is a day-to-day countdown of the top songs that are chosen by Filipino music fans through votes on the website, myxph.com. "All My Love is For You" becomes part of the daily countdown for almost two weeks now.

This only proves that Girls' Generation is drawing lots of attention in the Philippines. Other activities of Girls' Generation in the Philippines include the Dream K-pop Fantasy Concert this coming January 19, 2013 and promotions for Baby-G Casio.

Girls’ Generation’s “The Boys” is Used as Promotional Song in the Philippines’ Television Network

ABS-CBN and GMA are two of the most popular television network in the Philippines.

This past few days, “The Boys” is used as promotional song in both said networks in the Philippines. The song is played in different shows like Pinoy Big Brother, PBB UBER and ASAP 2012 on ABS-CBN Network and Party Pilipinas on GMA Network. These shows are high rating and recorded as most watched shows in the Philippines.

Filipinos were attracted to the song because of its gorgeous tune and nice message of the lyrics. As reported, the song is a big help in attracting viewers for the said shows.

Aside from ABS-CBN and GMA, Studio 23 and MYX-which are sub unit networks of ABS-CBN, are also using “The Boys Remix” in promoting their different shows during commercial breaks.
