You're Born to Shine, Im Yoona

30th of May, the special marked day in every SONEs' calendar, because this is the day, our precious Im Yoona is born. She'll be 22 this year, and a +1 for Korean age.

Yoona was cast in 2002 SM Entertainment Saturday Open Casting Audition and began to train with the other trainees under SM Entertainment in the areas of acting, singing and dancing, in which she sang WAX's " Please", danced Britney Spears' "Oops..! I did it again " and BoA' "Valenti". She has trained with SME for 5 years, after which she joined and debuted under Girls' Generation on August 5, 2007.

Yoona, the perfect description for beauty, her grace, her charming smile and unladylike laugh. This is the girl who SONEs love that much, she's an ordinary girl who shines in extraordinary ways. She captures everyone glance no matter where she is, she causes chaos even if she went on activities alone.

This girl, Im Yoona is undeniably beautiful, as you can see she has been many actors, artists, singers and athletes' ideal type. She's the member who has most individual activities and endorsement, probably the member who earns most as well. She always top most of the poll but she's always humble.She never ever boasted about her popularity or beauty and taken it as granted.

She's pretty, and people usually thinks that she only has beauty, that's why she's the center, that's how she gets her fame. But that ain't true at all, she's a hardworking girl, she never stop learning, always try to improve, even though she got criticize about her flaws, especially her singing skill. She tries harder and harder, finally we can see she's getting more lines in group song.

Yoona debut as an actress in 2007, with the drama 9 Ends, 2 Outs. In 2008, she acted in the drama Woman of Matchless Beauty before her first leading role in the daily drama You Are My Destiny which she won her important recognitions in acting.

After that Yoona filmed her 2009 drama Cinderella Man (신데렐라맨) alongside with Kwon Sang-woo, but the viewers rating and the results doesn't reach her expectation. She did reveal in Strong Heart that she's sad about negative comments of her drama and she lose some of her confidence and she says the other members will help her to build her confidence again. She still manage to win the Netizen Popularity Award (Cinderella Man) in 2010 46th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Yoona stopped acting for 2 years after Cinderella Man, but last year, 2011, she was in a lead role with Jang Guen Suk in the drama entitled Love Rain. Although the viewership percentage ain't that high but this drama gains a lot of attention and there's lot of positive comments for this drama and for Yoona. Yoona Impresses with her improved acting skill in Love Rain.

As a member of Girls' Generation, she rocks the stage once the music starts playing. The way she dance with charisma and confident smile, she moves effortlessly and charmingly. She portrays her sexy image when she dance.

Girls' Generation's beauty caught my attention, but their personalities won my heart.

Although Yoona is the center of Girls' Generation, but she never ever cared about her image. She's bold, fun, naughty like a boy and laugh like alligator. I love her when she laugh with her mouth open wide! She's the 2nd shikshin (Editors note: shikshin means person who eats a lot, god of food) in Girls' Generation.

Yoona have her problem with her playful personality which gets her into trouble. This naughty boyish girl actually pissed Sunny off and Sunny threaten to push her down the stairs because she talks to them with a voice full aegyo when all her unnies are very tired. She also did salty kimbab for all the other members in Hello Baby. She's cute even she's evil isn't it?

She always show SONEs the best side of her even though she's tired because she have to deal with crazy intense routine. She performs even though she's sick because she doesn't want to disappoint SONEs.
