On September 12th, Sooyoung made her first appearance on tvN’s “The 3rd Hospital”, her first drama as a leading actress. Playing the role of Lee Euijin, a violist who just returned to Korea from Germany, Sooyoung debuted in the drama’s third episode searching the hospital for Kim Seunghyun, played by Oh Jiho. Her character plans to audition for the Asia Orchestra, and until the auditions, wants to stay with Seunghyun, a doctor specializing in Eastern medicine. During the heavy and serious episode, Sooyoung lightened the mood and showed off her acting talent, her skills in playing the viola, and even spoke a word of German. Sooyoung’s sister, Choi Soojin, also made a brief appearance in the episode.
The next episode of “The 3rd Hospital” will be airing tomorrow, September 13th, at 11 PM KST.
